weather was huge.  you have to look at growing units to silk and black layer and see that they match your area.  I do not go by day corn much any more because 91 days can be 2200 GDU's same as a 99 day.

have to test plot some hybrids to see if they work for you.

Definitely need to try some test plots. What gdu's are you growing up there.

We can Bank on 2000. But every year I push some hybrids that are in the 2200 range. And most years I've had good luck with them.

You?

Well to be honest I have no idea what I can bank on  lots 110-118 grown around me I have been growing a 104 day.  Well looking at a chart with a ten year Ave. From when I planted which was 6/7 by 10/11 range is around 2400.  So if I can get it in the ground sooner there is some potential for a higher gdu than I am growing.  I have lots to learn.

I planted 93 to 106 Day corn this year. They ranged 2415-2645 GDU to black layer. we can consistently get the 106 day to black layer. I would like to try a 108 or 110 in a test plot and see how they do. Early planting can be a challenge here sometimes though.

Haven't got any off yet,  ill report back with some averages when i do.

Looks like all the corn did well but what one made you more money?   Seen "planted 32k" what was germ rate and emergence?  Cost per bag?  Any particular one come up earlier and off to the races but fizzed out early?  Any slow but steady?  Any that the deer/coon/turkeys liked more?
