We got to get an up close look at all of the strip till we could find.  I don't think anyone makes a bad unit. Lots of different ways to get the job done! Yetter, Blue Jet and remlinger make units to go on your bar or there bar. Krause looks like a beast!

Jon

What is the narrowest those units can be mounted next to each other? What do people do for strip tilling 22” rows in your area? What is the hp/row requirements (range) also?

Thanks

there is no 22" here. yet. wink wink. lol

I would believe blue jet right now could set you up with a 15 inch or 22 inch. they use a main frame system and not a single tool bar.  more expensive but it spreads the row unit out length ways and side ways for good trash flow.

I am as of today a dealer for remlinger. ( second one up in the pictures)  I think they would fit a 22 inch spacing but i will check into it.

hp really varies.  my 8 row unit with thin shanks like remlinger the 4640 (180 hp)could pull that easily to 8 mph at 8" deep.

the unit i built with a chisel plow shank and 2" point you know its back there.  just like pulling a 6 shank chisel plow.  for hp wise i would go off of what kind of chisel plow can you pull. then figure about 75% of that power for the same number of rows.  clear as mud right!
