Its not the sound guard I was hoping to purchase but, it’s something I will enjoy and maybe one day when I can afford a sound guard I can use this one for an auger tractor.

1967 Oliver 1850 Diesel

92 Horsepower

I bought it off of the original owners son. 40 hours on overhaul, clutch, and three speed. Seems to be solid, I pulled these 4x16”s is some of the hardest pulling dirt around here in 3rd direct with lots of black smoke and dropped to 2nd over to clean the smoke up. These pictures were taken at our local Antique Steam and Gas Engine Club. I hoping to find an 8 row kelderman fold to go behind the 1850 or possibly a 6 row.

very nice tractor! Ive always kinda wanted an 1850. The beautiful thing its that of all the olivers it takes the least modification to swap in a 5.9 Cummins!  That Perkins should be a good motor though. You'll like the over-under, i wish the 1650 had that.

You should be a able to pull an 8 row. The 1650 pulled the 12 row bean planter i built, but it did work it pretty good. Its turned up to about 85 ponies.

Watch for ground hog holes! mine used to be a narrow front at one time too

Yes same size. The book called it 92 and that’s what this one pulled on the dyno at the show. I wanted a 4010-4020 but for the money I paid for this one with new up front, I couldn’t have bought a used up 4020 here. A nice gas burner was listed for the same price..

The right amount of money or the right trade you could have this one. I don’t really want to get rid of it I like it, but everything’s for sale for the right money!
