anyone getting close?  we got another 3 inches in the last couple days but had a couple weeks of hot weather that helped push that corn along.  a month ago it looked like we might not have a harvest then got a lot of late heat unexpectedly and now its like we might have something.  beans will be low on production but corn is actually looking good. might be close to avg?

with the currnet rain and forecast it looks like 2 weeks or so before anything moves?

I will be down at my dads place this weekend.

Hopefully we can start on beans this week.  With the weather looking pretty good from Sunday through Wednesday.

If only the weather could stay like today 10/7/2019, for the next three weeks would be perfect.

Who knows when we will get started with beans, with the weather forecast.

To many green pods to just go hog wild. If beans would have been ready i would have finished that 80!

We did about roughly 7 acres of corn around the bins, to get some room for the augers.

Corn is at 27%.  May do some more this week.

But the weather looks good so we may switch the combine back over to start with beans some time soon, hopefully.

27% isn't so terrible. if it was thrashing nice with the warm days it wouldn't be so bad to dry compared to 25% in a month from now when its 20 degrees colder.

Hopefully we can get the beans done this weekend.  Before the cloudy cooler weather comes in.

good luck.

this freeze coming should help the soil carry equipment with a little crust.  also the freeze thaw might help knock moisture out of corn.
