it is getting dry here.  we only had a couple nice rains since spring and we were looking good and we got dry fast. crops are ahead of normal and we are looking for a potential real good crop year, an inch would make a nice second crop hay.

but now the corn is starting to rope bad and hay is losing color.

only saving grace is pasture is growing nicely and should have good feed for august for the cows, cereal crops are turning colors might lose a little test weight or protein but they are looking good.

Ended up with 2.75.

Since then anything that was supposed to happen missed us.

July 7th a storm came and just to the south of us they got a good shot of rain we got nothing. July 8th Saint Cloud I talk to a customer they got an inch and a half that morning that we got a tenth.

Last night we were in 100% forecasted to 2/3 in storm and luckily we got three quarters of an inch. LOL we have had other rains were at 100% forecasted several days out and got nothing.

Surprisingly the crops look a lot better than the rainfall says!
