I am looing for (2) 144 hole single row bean drums for my 900 boxes. Anyone know of one or two tucked away in a shed?
what part of the world are you from..... I know i would have 2 if you purchased my 16 row 900 rear horizontal fold planter LOL
I'm in Northeast Ohio, just northwestern of Alliance 44601.
Haha, the biggest horse I have is the 4430. I think 16 rows is going to be a struggle.
just need a torch and you can make it any size you want.... this older 16 row pulls WAY easier than my front fold 955 pulls....but got tired of unhooking my fert tank with the rear horizontal fold
if I would have known about your planter last summer id be all over it. im in the process of cutting apart 2 6 rows and making a 12 row 15" bean planter. If I like how it turns out the plan is to eventually do it again with 2 955 12 rows and make a true 12/24. im moving all the row units over 7.5" so the tractor will be in the same tracks as it was when corn was planted but there are 2 row units between every 30" row of corn. on the 12/23 12 of the rows would be right on top corn rows if I didn't move the tractor over. Trying to avoid tire damage and keep the row units off corn stalks.
These were great planters for slit row applications as only one row of n each side actually has something in the way
